About this publication
Written with the
long game in mind.
Boring Growth is written by the performance team at Boring Commerce. We work on paid growth, creatives, landing pages and retention for Indian D2C brands. This publication focuses on what happens after a customer first chooses you.
What belongs in the playbook
Email and WhatsApp flows, abandoned checkout, product bundles, repeat purchase, loyalty and win-back. We explain the trigger, the message, the timing and the point at which a flow should stop. Each guide explains what to build and how to measure it.
Where the numbers come from
Launch guides use public platform documentation and practitioner methods. Sources are linked beside the relevant claim. Each article carries a source note and the date those sources were checked. Platform rules carry source links; example journeys carry an example label.
Worked examples label their assumed inputs at the calculation. Amounts use rupees and state their tax and cost treatment.
How we protect client data
We never identify a client or publish details that could reveal one. Articles using account data state the observation window, sample and spend or order coverage. Averages and ranges draw on at least three brands. Smaller samples are labelled as examples.
We publish figures with enough evidence to support them and keep incomplete customer records out of repeat-rate calculations.
Corrections and changing platform rules
Platform settings and message policies change. Check the linked documentation before implementation. When we make a substantive correction, we update the article and its modified date. To flag a correction, use the notes field when booking a review.
